Kiko Milano

Review: Kiko Milano Water Eyeshadow 208 Light Gold

05:54:00

A while ago I was at the Kiko Milano store in Seiersberg in Austria and I had to pick up one of the water eyeshadows, since everybody seems to love them.

Packaging: Small matte black compact, that is sturdy. Inside it has a small mirror. The most eye-catching thing is definitely 3D pattern on the eyeshadow.

Texture: Eyeshadow has a creamy texture and the pigmentation is insane. Especially when you use it wet. It can have a bit of a fall out when used dry, but once you wet it, that goes away. It applies nicely and evenly, brushes pick up the eyeshadow well. Some even use it as a highlighter. If you can pull it off, do it. I can't use it as a highlighter, since it looks glittery on me and it emphasizes every imperfection that I have.

Color: It's light, warm golden shimmery color.

On the left is swatched dry and on the right wet.

Staying power: Used wet it stays on the lid a whole day without creasing and fading.

Price and availibility: Kiko Milano store and online for 8.99€.

Overall I highly recommend it, since it is an amazing eyeshadow. But I would recommend to wait for their sales online, since it has a bit of a bigger price.

Did you tried their water eyeshadows? Or anything else, if yes, what is your opinion?

REAL TECHNIQUES MIRACLE COMPLEXION SPONGE
Since I've got it and tried it out for the first time, I've used only this one every day for applying my foundation. So this says enough how impressed I am about this sponge. I've owned only original Ebelin sponge before this one and honestly, I can say this one is far better. The Real Techniques one is a lot softer and bouncier (if that makes any sense) and it doesn't soak up so much foundation as Ebelin sponge. I like this sponge so much, that I didn't use Real Techniques Expert Face Brush since I got the Miracle Complexion sponge.

ESSENCE MAKE ME BROW 02 BROWNY BROWS
I already wrote a review about this product, so I'll try to keep it short. It's an amazing product for a little money. It fills my brows with it's little fibers perfectly and yet they look pretty natural. It won't move or budge for hours, well until the end of my day atleast and even then I had some problems removing it.

MILANI AMORE MATTTE LIP CREME 14 DEVOTION
At first I've had some problems with the formula of this lipstick. But I adored this shade so much, so I gave it a good try. I exfoliated the hell out of my lips and before applying the lipstick, I applied a thin layer of balm. And voila, it worked. The lipstick stayed on, it didn't crumble anymore. You can find my review here, if you want to know more and see swatches of this beautiful liquid lipstick. Everytime I wanted a red lipstick, I chose this one and I must say that was often.

MANHATTAN X-TREME LAST LIPLINER 34N
This lipliner I used along with the Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in shade Devotion. The shade is lighter than Devotion.
I have weird looking lips, so I have to lipline with it, since Devotion dries so fast. This lipliner is good, the only thing that bothers me, is that it can break, since it's so creamy.

ESSENCE I LIKE LONG LASHES!
Some time ago, I saw a picture with pretty long lashes on Instagram. I coudn't believe the mascara was from Essence, so I had to try it for myself. The result were long lashes with minimal volume, so I liked it immediately. In the result it resembles to L'oreals Volume Million Lashes Excess mascara, which is my all time favourite so far. I like that it has a small plastic kind of a brush. The only con is that it smudges after an hour on my lower lashes.
